Score Validity of December MAT 2018

 

 

 

Management Aptitude Test or MAT is conducted 4 times a year by All India Management Association (AIMA). This year, only December MAT is left. MAT Score Card 2018 for December session will be released within a few days after the date of the test.

 

Students who will appear December MAT 2018 this year can check their score online on the official website of AIMA by entering their Application Number, Roll Number, and month of the test. Read below to find out more about the score validity of MAT December 2018.

 

·         MAT scores are valid for a period of 1 year from the date on which the results are declared.

·         MAT scores are generally accepted by more than 600 Top B-schools in India.

·         Based on the cut-off released by Top B-schools accepting MAT scores and MAT scores of the candidates, they can apply for further admission process in the Top B-schools in India.

·         After the release of MAT December 2018 score card, candidates have to appear for next steps of the admission process which includes Written Aptitude Test, followed by a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

·         The expected MAT Cut-off for the majority of Tier 1 B-schools is above 90 percentile.

·         MAT score also represents the comparative position of the candidate with respect to the candidates who have appeared MAT.

·         Each MAT score card includes six types of scores- Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation & Sufficiency, Reasoning Ability. It ranges from 0 to 100. The composite score ranges from 199 to 801. A separate score card is also released on a scale of 0 to 100 for General Awareness.

·         The Composite Score is calculated using the first 4 sections of the test only. The reason is in the first 4 sections the skills of the student can be evaluated.

          ·         The main value of MAT Score is that it provides a standard measure managed under average conditions with known validity for calculating and evaluating the academic skills of candidates who have appeared for the MAT.

 

·         MAT score card can help the MBA Aspirants to get admission into the top B-schools in India which accepts MAT scores.

 

 How to Download MAT December 2018 Scorecard?

 

 Follow the below steps to download December MAT 2018 Scorecard:

 

·         Visit the official website of AIMA and Click on ‘MAT 2018 Result’ tab.

 

·         Enter your registration number and roll number.

 

·         Choose the month of the test (February/May/September/ December) and click on Submit.

 

·         Download the Scorecard and take a print out.

 

·         Candidates can also apply for a Duplicate MAT score card if they have lost the score-card.  They can apply for the same within 45 days of the result declaration without any fees.  After 45 days, students will be charged Rs. 100/- (Demand Draft In favour of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi) for the duplicate MAT Score-card.
