ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SEPTEMBER MAT 2019:
· The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline obtained from any recognized university or institute.
· Students in their final year of Graduation can also appear for SEPTEMBER MAT 2019.
· There is no age restriction to take the MAT exam.
· Job experience is not mandated to apply for this MBA entrance exam.
Mode of MAT test occurs in two formats basically:
· Pen-Paper Based Test (PBT)
· Computer Based Test (CBT)

For Computer Based Test (CBT): 1550/-
For Both PBT & CBT: 2650/-
NOTE: Candidates going for both Pen-Paper Based Test (PBT) and Computer Based Test (CBT) will have the advantage of choosing an additional 2 Management Schools for sending their marks in addition to the prevailing option of selecting 5 Management Schools i.e. they can select 7 Management Schools in total.

MAT exam would be in the objective form with multiple-choice questions comprising of 5 different sections namely:
Duration of the exam is usually 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).
The medium of exam is English.

The marking scheme for this MBA entrance exam is:
· Each question carries 1 mark.
· For every incorrect answer – you lose minus (-) 0.25
· Total number of questions – 200
· The maximum marks, which a candidate can score for MAT exam is 200 and the scaled score for the same is given out of 800.
· Sections considered for percentile calculation – 4 only and 160 number of questions are considered for percentile evaluation.
· The 5th section which is Indian and Global Environment is not considered for evaluating the percentile.
